Week 1 (blog entry)
In the sixth semester in media programs we enter in a new course is an Integrated Project with Mr,Barry Lowe. In a first class he explains for all students the new project it is about making a short video about the 25th anniversary for the HCT, and gives us more details about the submitted. In the next class, all student chooses on roles will work in the project. I choose the location manager for the project to be the person who oversees the Locations Department and its staff, typically reporting directly to the Production Manager and/or Assistant Director (or even Director and/or Executive Producer). Location Manager is responsible for final clearing (or guaranteeing permission to use) a location for filming and must often assist Production/Finance Dept(s) in maintaining budget management regarding actual location/permit fees as well as labor costs to production for himself and the Locations Department at large.Also, in this week we working in a short presentation about person who have a same job of what we choose. I think this project will give me more skill in working in this role and how we organize my work with my team members. I am very exciting to do this project.
Tasks
The first week as a location manger I didn't have anything to do with the rest of the team. But we discus with other group about idea some suggest. I am working in a presentation about famous person in location manger I did a lot of work to research. I face some difficulty to fine a location manger but I focus on “Alexander Cox” and I shows video example of his work film.

In week two we complete our works, on Monday we done meeting with all class with the pre production to view the idea for all student in class. In Tuesday we seat with our team props group discussing about what will do. In this week me is the team leader of props group I done in Wednesday meeting with my group to get the idea with the Set Designer, Costume Designer, Make-Up Artist and me a Location Manager. In week 3 it was very hard to work and we going to find the location and I make a report to the director to know about it. After that I went to the student serves to take the approval to shooting in this location. The shooting will be in the RKWC and any class especially in the RKMC .I discuss with director about all location that will shooting. Also I work with set designer to know if the design it fit with the location. And I told all crew about the where will be shooting to be available

week 4 (blog entry)
In this week there were lots of things to do, we started to shot several scenes. I was available in all locations the shot. Firstly as a location manger of this film I was with the director to take the approval to start shooting and give him the list of the location in the college. The first location we started in the Dr. Bob head master office with production team, Producers team and our team props. On Tuesday me and production team we went to take some shots in RKMC, I was behalf of my team to check the design and the Costume Designer. After that we went back to our college and we continue the other scenes with the other teams. We shoot in the library, the garden of the college and college entrance with two girls. Also on the Thursday I work with the set designer Maryam Omer to design the 25th by the items I help here.
In this week was so hard and we feel tired, because we work more hours until 5:00pm. In the same time I learn a lot of things for me as the location manger of this film and got important skills which is the cooperation and in working order.

We started to be available in a shooting location the in both college (RKMC and RKWC) the scenes which is the different majors in the college. After that we going with the director to finished the first scene which is in the college entrance with two girls. In Thursday I was available at the location with the set designer to deign the shape of 25th and no one helped us in this scene only me and Maryam Omer , we face problems with the other teams no one bring any materials and we suggest to shooting next week

I attend different meeting this week. Mr. Barry we make in Saturday Meeting with our class to discuss the idea. Maryam Omer we lead our team props and make a meeting on Thursday. In each meeting we discuses different ideas of how the project will be. And tell the supervisor if have any problems in this project.
week 5 (blog entry)
In week 5 we continue shooting for the last scene of the 25th anniversary in the entrance Reception of RKWC in Saturday, we started at 10:30 and I help maryam omer the sat designer to bring some staff to creative the shape of 25. Everything going well all teams member was available and help us.
We received from the edition to re-shooting the first scene because she face some problems and I went with the director and Editor to make sure the location and the angle is better than before. We suggest to shot in Thursday at 10:45 AM because the girls have school and that time a best for her.
On Monday, we had a meeting with our supervisor and other teams. To tell us to should do a pitch presentation next week.

I was available with the production team when shooting some scene in college for example, some class of foundation showing us how study in I Pad and some shot in the gym and the hull of the college. We have a short interview with Dr.Ttiona Croke Dean in her office

This is the last week and I already finish all of my works and task for this project and I feel satisfy and happy about my work and team work. I think works hard at the beginning and now be more comfortable about every things. I do in this week the pitch presentation and now we preparing for the final presentation for props team. At this point I was very proud my team and other team about finishing the project in six week and when I saw the trailer I really liked and I feel the project successful.

This is a documentary film about the first scene in Oliver Stones movie The Doors was filmed on Venice Beach
The Location manger first select the scene with the location it relative to it. The location manger we must to give some changes to become the location relative to look 1990, for example cove the bypath by the sand and a lot of changes. We must make sure if the location it ok have enough space for all crew of the films and we shout control the places if someone make noise. It important to focus in this point I mention because help the director to shooting without any problems.
Finally, I hope in future to become a famous location manger in the United Arab emeriti, I think it a hard job to select the correct scene with the location to become the film perfect. But I love this rolls and I have the ability to become a location manger
